SSI-SCA BLUE CHIP FUND APPLICATION GUIDE

In order to apply for SSI-SCA Blue Chip Fund Subscription, please complete these following steps:

1.         Opening Open Ended Fund Trading Account and applying for Fresh Purchase

1.1        Opening Account Documents:

Investor

Investors’ Documents (Foreign Investor)

SSI’ s Documents:

Individual
  • Notarized or authenticated copy of power of attorney (if applicable)
  • Certified copy of ID card/passport of Investor and authorized person (if applicable)
  • The Bank confirmation on opening the capital contributed account (CCA) or the indirect investment capital account (for foreign Investors only)
  • Certified copy of confirmation of securities trading code (STC) from Vietnam Securities Depository (VSD) (for foreign Investors only)
  • Other documents
  • Open-ended Fund Account Opening Application Form

 

  • Open-ended Fund Subscription Form

 

Original form completed and signed by Investor (affixed with seal , if for Institution)

Institution
  • Additional information of institutional Investor
  • Power of attorney (if applicable)
  • Certified copy of certificates of company registration
  • Certified copy of related documents on changing company register information (if applicable)
  • Certified copy of ID card/passport of legal representative
  • Certified copy of ID card/passport of authorized representative (if applicable)
  • The Bank confirmation on opening the capital contributed account (CCA) or the indirect investment capital account (for foreign Investors only)
  • Certified copy of confirmation of securities trading code (STC) from Vietnam Securities Depository (VSD) (for foreign Investors only)
  • FATCA forms (if applicable) e.g. US tax declaration forms:
  • W-8BEN-E/W-8ECI/W-8IMY/W-8EXP or W9
  • Other documents

1.2      Money Transferring for SSI-SCA subscription

Introduction :  Investor transfers the amount specified on the Application form to SSI-SCA respective Account in VND :

Normal purchase:

Beneficiary:    SSI Sustainable Competitive Advantage Fund

Bank: Standard Chartered Vietnam
Amount:    [Investment Amount]
Content:  [Investor’s name][Account number] buy [SSI-SCA] at SSI
 
SIP purchase:
 
Beneficiary:    SSI Sustainable Competitive Advantage Fund
unt Number: 90275350212
Bank: Standard Chartered Vietnam
Amount:    [Investment Amount]
Content:  [Investor’s name][Account number] buy SIP [SSI-SCA] at SSI
 

Remark:

  • Transfer fee:   “Excluding”
  • Subscription amount must be paid from : The bank account of Investor (CCA account) or the indirect investment capital account.

 

1.3      Completing Application Document

Documents sent to the Branch/ Office of SSI include:

  • Open-ended Fund Account Opening Application Form
  • Open-ended Fund Subscription Form
  • Above Investor’s Documents
  • Payment Order (Bank’s confirmation required)

SSI receives, checks the documents and executes the registration of SSI Open Ended-Fund Account to Asset Management Company via Transfer Agency 

 

2.        Applying for next subscriptions

After completing the Application for Open Ended -Fund Account and Fresh Purchase, Investor could apply for additional units in SSI Open Ended Funds by:

2.1.     Completing “Subscription Order” and sending to SSI.

2.2.     Paying for subscription (same as in Fresh Purchase)
